1. Introduction

Welcome to DisvoDisvi ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern your use of our website located at disvodisvi.com (together with any related services, collectively referred to as the "Service") operated by DisvoDisvi.

Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Service and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our website. Please read it here.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Definitions

SERVICE means the disvodisvi.com website, excursions, and related services operated by DisvoDisvi.

PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.

COOKIES are small pieces of data stored on your device (computer or mobile device).

DATA CONTROLLER means a natural or legal person who determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are processed. We are the Data Controller of your data.

DATA SUBJECT is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data.

USER means the individual using our Service. The User corresponds to the Data Subject, who is the subject of Personal Data.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Reservations and Bookings

Reservations for excursions can be made through our website, by email, by phone, or in person at our office. All reservations are subject to availability.

A reservation is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us (via email or other communication methods) and have made the required payment.

3.2 Prices

All prices are listed in Danish Krone (DKK) and include applicable VAT.

Prices may change without notice. However, once your booking is confirmed, the price will not change unless there are modifications to your booking (such as changes in group size or excursion details).

3.3 Payment

For most excursions, we require full payment at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

For custom or private tours with a value exceeding 5,000 DKK, a 50% deposit may be acceptable, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the excursion date.

We accept payments via credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfers, and cash (for in-person bookings at our office only).

3.4 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled excursion time will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled excursion time will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds will be provided for no-shows or cancellations on the day of the excursion.

In the event that we need to cancel an excursion due to weather conditions, insufficient participants, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule for another date.

4. Excursion Rules and Guidelines

4.1 Participant Responsibilities

All participants must:

  • Arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and excursion type.
  • Follow the safety instructions and guidance provided by the tour guide.
  • Respect other participants, local residents, and the environment during excursions.
  • Inform us in advance of any special needs, health conditions, or mobility issues that might affect participation.

4.2 Late Arrivals

Excursions will depart at the scheduled time. Guides will wait up to 15 minutes for late participants, but cannot guarantee they will wait longer.

No refunds will be provided if you miss an excursion due to late arrival.

4.3 Children

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Some excursions may have minimum age requirements due to their nature, duration, or content. These will be clearly indicated in the excursion description.

We offer discounted rates for children on most excursions. Please inquire for specific details.

4.4 Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove from an excursion any participant who demonstrates behavior that is disruptive, poses a risk to themselves or others, or violates our policies, with no refund provided.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DisvoDisvi and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Denmark and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of DisvoDisvi.

6. Content on the Website

6.1 Our Content

Our Service allows you to access content provided by DisvoDisvi ("Our Content"). Our Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access and use Our Content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • Modify copies of Our Content
  • Use any illustrations, photographs, or graphics separately from the accompanying text
  • Delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Access or use Our Content for any commercial purposes

6.2 User Content

Our Service may allow you to post, link, store, share, or otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("User Content"). You are responsible for the User Content that you post on our Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting User Content on our Service, you grant us the right to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through our Service. You retain any and all of your rights to any User Content you submit, post, or display on or through our Service and you are responsible for protecting those rights.

  • The User Content is yours or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights as provided in these Terms
  • The posting of your User Content on our Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person or entity

7. Testimonials and Reviews

By submitting a testimonial, review, or other feedback about our services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your feedback for any purpose, including in marketing materials, on our website, and in other promotional contexts.

We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove testimonials or reviews at our sole discretion, particularly if they contain inappropriate content, false information, or do not reflect a genuine customer experience.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by DisvoDisvi.

DisvoDisvi has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.

You acknowledge and agree that DisvoDisvi shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DisvoDisvi, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

DisvoDisvi's total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to DisvoDisvi for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

10. Safety and Insurance

While we take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of our participants, excursions involve inherent risks. Participation in our excursions is at your own risk.

We recommend that all participants have appropriate travel and health insurance that covers activities undertaken during excursions. DisvoDisvi is not responsible for any injuries, illness, or accidents that occur during our excursions, except where proven to be a result of our negligence.

11. Force Majeure

DisvoDisvi shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, war, terrorism, riots, civil unrest, government actions, labor disputes, transportation failures, or power outages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
